Our Sterilization Equipment Categories
Autoclaves (Steam Sterilizers)
Among the most commonly used sterilization machines are steam sterilizers or autoclaves, which use high-pressure saturated steam to achieve complete sterilization. These machines are highly effective and commonly found in operating rooms and clinical labs due to their ability to rapidly sterilize surgical instruments, glassware, textiles, and other heat-resistant items.
Autoclaves are available in various sizes and configurations, from compact tabletop models for small clinics to large, high-capacity systems for hospitals and industrial use. Reliable and widely used, autoclaves use high-pressure steam to sterilize medical instruments, lab tools, and more.
● Available in tabletop and vertical models
● Ideal for surgical tools, dressings, and lab glassware
● Rapid sterilization cycles
Dry Heat Sterilization
Another widely used method is dry heat sterilization, which employs high temperatures to destroy microorganisms without moisture. This method is especially useful for sterilizing items that might be damaged by steam or moisture, such as powders, oils, metal tools, and glassware. Although it generally takes longer than steam sterilization, dry heat sterilizers offer excellent penetration and are highly effective when used properly. Perfect for materials that can’t be exposed to moisture.
- Best for glassware, powders, and metal instruments
- High-temperature sterilization (160–180°C)
- Low maintenance and durable
Gas Sterilization (Ethylene Oxide)
In situations where instruments are sensitive to heat or moisture, gas sterilization using ethylene oxide (EtO) is often the preferred method. EtO sterilizers work at low temperatures and are capable of sterilizing complex, delicate instruments, including electronics and plastic components. Despite its effectiveness, ethylene oxide is a toxic gas, and strict safety measures are required to protect operators and ensure proper aeration of instruments post-sterilization.
- Penetrates complex devices
- Ideal for plastic and electronic equipment
- Requires special ventilation and safety protocols
